By The Sword

Following on from yesterday’s post with the pikes, the knights have now gone to the sword to practice their combat skills.

First a procession into the field of combat.

The dragon on the head isn’t an ornament.  The knight must knock his opponents’ off and keep his own intact to win the bout.  Fights are between two, three or four knights at a time.

Get your arms out of the way!

Just like wrestling, their was a bad guy.  The one in red is the villain of the piece.

There was also music in between during timeouts.

Medieval tents against a portentous sky.

Ilford 400 HP5+ was used to cope with the lack of sun.
