Wow, we Americans don’t have any authentic castle ruins in which to do our Medieval reenactments! Love the character studies here as well.

You’re right, and I try to get to as many of them as I can. But while our land is old our man-made structures are nearly all less than 300 years old–quite young in comparison! I would so love to experience something that is as old as that castle.
