Bridge

Here’s two pictures of the same Millennium Bridge at night which I took on a long exposure.  The top one is the better one, but I kind of like the fuzzy, shaky version below as well.  This is what you get for not taking a tripod. What does anyone else think?

  1. Very nice shots for having no tripod. The “shakey” shot does seem to add something – a little more energy?

  2. I prefer the second one because it has more contrast. If you added some contrast or black to the first one, I might have preferred the first.

  3. I think I like the second shot best with the darker sky and better reflections.

  4. …the second one is a different pair of shoes (as we say) – but in its own right, it is a good one, I think. I might even prefer it to the other one, though I am not sure yet.

  5. I like the shaky version. Haha I tend to like some motion blur. It gives a hum to the city.

  6. The shaking on the left is kind of interesting — it takes on the effect of a double exposure.

  7. They’re both great, but the second one definitely has that little something extra. 🙂

  8. For shot with no tripod it is still nice quality.
