You could have done a pic with the wigs. Seriously, it’s sad because although Ebay serves a need there’s nothing like going into a shop which has some knowledgeable people and having a chat and a fiddle. I’m fortunate that I still have two such shops within about 15 minutes, one in Bradford and one in Ilkley, though there are no more in the much bigger city of Leeds, about the same time away. And we really need an on-line alternative to Ebay as it’s getting more and more difficult to search for something specific in the classic camera field – I think because they’re demoting its important in favour of digital.

Used to be pretty good round here but the options have diminished in the last couple of years. Losing Jacobs and Jessops has been a bit of a blow.
