Ah, no, I’m afraid you’re mistaken. I have this wonderful book about Soviet Avantgarde architecture from the 1920s with photographs by Richard Pare from the 1990s and these concrete slabs actually don’t keep much better than anything else. Most of the buildings in the book have now been demolished, because they were just crumbling and unsafe by the 90s.
